Instructions for Contributors

  • Sahulat – A Journal of Interest Free Microfinance adheres to a rigorous peer-reviewing policy and follows a strict anti-plagiarism policy.
  • All the papers submitted will go through the Editorial Team’s preliminary examination and those shortlisted will be sent to the subject expert of the concerned area for Blind Review.
  • The manuscript should be submitted in two separate files i.e. title page and main body file.
  • The title page should contain the details of the author(s) i.e. name, affiliation, email address, and contact number. No information about the author(s) should be provided in the manuscript.
  • The Corresponding Author details should be mentioned on the title page for further communication.
  • The manuscript should be in Times New Roman font typed in 1.5 space with 12-point font size.
  • The main body files must be presented in the following orders. 
  • Title
  • Abstract with five keywords
  • Introduction
  • Background / Literature Review
  • Research Methodology
  • Analysis / Discussion
  • Conclusion
  • Implication & Future Research Direction
  • References
  • Appendix
  • The abstract should be in 150-200 words mentioning the purpose, methodology, findings, originality, and implications of the study.
  • Main Body should adhere following word limit
    • Full research article: 6000-8000 words.
    • Case Study: 4000-6000 words.
    • Interview: 2000-4000 words.
    • Book Review: 800-1200 words.
    • Opinion Article: 2000-3000 words.
  • References should be arranged in APA (6th) format arranged alphabetically.
  • All the Tables and Figures should be numbered along with suitable captions and authors from which it has been taken.
  • Footnotes, Italics and quotation marks should be kept to a minimum.
  • Upon acceptance of an article, the author(s) will be asked to complete the copyright form.
  • Author(s) will receive a complimentary copy of the issue in which his/her article is published.
  • The decision of the editorial board regarding the publication in the journal would be final.
